Don Álvaro de Bazán
Only in the best vintages
Selected grapes from old vines planted in the highest part of the Tremoedo estate. Very por sandy granitic soils lead to a small canopy and low fruit yield. The size of the grape is noticeably smaller than average and the natural control of the vigour of the plantes let the clusters be exposed to the limited sunrays of galician summer season. Cold macerated for 8 till 10 hours and fermentation at 17 temperature followed by a 24 month rest on lees, giving the wine an extra dimension of aromas and roundness in the palate. Perfect development in bottle up to 5 years.

Intense yellow color, limpid, with bright reflections. In the nose, recall the sea breeze, chamomile, white chocolate, dates and yellow fruits, such as mirabelles and papaya.
On the palate it is powerful, unctuous, its volume frames the balanced acidity, very saline and with a persistent finish.
