Baigorri Rosé

DESCRIPTION

Our hand crafted Rosado is made from the typical Rioja grape varieties Tempranillo and Garnacha, sourced from old vines. A Rosé, that is, thanks to the fermentation with indigenous yeasts and a long contact with its fine lees, more than just fruity, but complex, full-bodied, fresh and very persistent.

Rosé wine made from the varieties Tempranillo (50%) and Garnacha (50%), sourced from old vines (>45 years), grown in vineyards, located in the Rioja Alavesa and the Sonsierra area.

After a manual picking, all the grapes are hand-selected, using vibration and selection tables. Fermentation at cold temperatures in stainless steel tanks, using especially selected indigenous yeasts. Before the wine is bottled in February after the harvest, it remains a couple of month in contact with its fine lees.
