After a manual and selective harvest, the stemmed grape has been selected by hand, grain by grain, using selection tables by vibration and weight. Long macerations and intracellular fermentations with indigenous yeasts in 5,000 kg French oak vats. Natural remounts and final extraction by gravity. Malolactic fermentation and aging for 24 months in new French oak barrels with extra fine grain.
A plot (<2 Ha.) Located in the Sierra de Cantabria, municipality of Samaniego, Rioja Alavesa with its characteristic stony and very poor clay-calcareous soils. Average age of the vines:> 70 years. Vineyard altitude: 700 meters. Driving system: glass. Sustainable viticulture with 100% manual work.
Intense cherry color of high layer. Highly complex aromas of berries, spices and minerals stand out. Perfect harmony between tannins, fruit and acidity – expression of fragrance and elegance. Very long, fresh and persistent in the mouth.
