Contrapunto Albariño

Purity and youthfulness of the Albariño grape

This is our youngest and freshest Albariño wine, made from hand-harvested grapes from our estates in the Salnés Valley. Easy to enjoy, with a touch of residual sugar and a lively acidity.

Contrapunto is the harmonious combination of different melodies. Each sensory note has its own melody, and when combined, they leave an echo and a polyphonic expression on the finish.

Granbazán Etiqueta Verde

Classic profile and essence of Valle del Salnés

For over 30 years, Granbazán has been working with around 80 families dedicated to viticulture in the areas of Cambados, Vilanova, and Meaño, in the heart of the Salnés Valley. This wine represents the work and passion of our winegrowers, reflected in over 100 microplots cultivated on granite soils along the Ría de Arousa.

Granbazán Etiqueta Ámbar

Our emblem.
Made only with free-run juice.

Etiqueta Ámbar was born after more than 40 years of work and perseverance at our Tremoedo Estate, using the finest grape selection from our winegrowers.

Granbazán Limousin Albariño

The pioneer of oak-aged Albariños

The project began in the late 1980s, when the first experiments with French oak barrels were started.
Granbazán Limousin is the first Albariño wine classified as Rías Baixas Barrica within the Denominación de Origen.

Over recent harvests, the technique has been refined to achieve a perfectly balanced wine. The grapes come from the Tremoedo Estate, with very low yields, where green pruning and leaf thinning have been carried out, and where vines over 40 years old grow on “xabre” or weathered granite soils.

Granbazán D. Álvaro de Bazán

Only in the best vintages

Made from grapes from old vines in the highest part of the Tremoedo Estate. Very poor soils with low fruit load, where leaf thinning and green pruning have been carried out, and the sun exposure on the clusters is very high.

The berry size is noticeably smaller than average. Cold maceration, fermentation at very low temperature, followed by 12 months aging on lees, giving the wine an extra dimension of aromas and roundness on the palate. Perfect bottle evolution for up to 5 years.

Granbazán Veigalobos Albariño

A unique wine.
Made using ancestral techniques.

Veigalobos is a project that began with the 2018 vintage, aimed at exploring the potential of the Albariño grape to produce exceptional wines, breaking away from the classic and purist style that has characterized Granbazán for the past 40 years.

La Finca Cobas de Lobos, where we harvest the grapes, is located in the parish of San Adrián, Cambados, and covers 2.85 hectares planted with Galician vine on sandy soil with a light vegetal cover along the banks of the Umia River. In these extreme conditions and under the influence of the Atlantic Ocean, berries develop with slow ripening, high acidity, and unparalleled aromatic quality

Granbazán Extra Brut

Bright straw-yellow color, with a persistent foam crown and fine bubbles.

Made using the traditional method and hand-riddled, the bottle has been left to rest for a minimum of 24 months before disgorging.

Sparkling wine of medium intensity with notes of green fruit such as apple, enhancing the aromas from aging while retaining the varietal character.

On the palate, it shows great tension and salinity, highlighted by its fine perlage.

Quinta do Sil Godello

Godello from old vines along the Sil River surrounding the parish of Seadur (Ourense), grown on slate and granite soils.

Quinta do Sil is the result of a dream: to produce in this region of great white wines that are complex, aromatic, and full of character.

A Godello of high intensity, with fruity notes such as Williams pear, yellow cherry, and loquat.
