The 39th edition of the “Guía Vinos Gourmets”, aimed at both wine lovers and wine professionals, has just hit the bookshops. Published since 1983, it is the doyen of wine publications.

For this 2024 edition, more than 4,100 wines were tasted, always blind to ensure the necessary objectivity for a publication of this kind.

This year again sees Granbazán achieve great scores and tasting comments that perfectly reflect our winemaking philosophy. The results in the 2024 Gourmets Wine Guide are as follows:


Don Álvaro de Bazán 2020: 96 POINTS

The tasting committee describes it as a straw-coloured wine with glints of green. Clean, aromatic, with subtle hints of lychee, plum, custard apple, a touch of sea-salt or brine preserves, lemon verbena, eucalyptus, flint, white flowers, infusions, etc… Complex and lush, full-bodied yet with balanced acidity and a pleasant mineral salinity throughout; it offers a very long finish in both nose and mouth.


Limousin 2020: 96 POINTS

Straw yellow in colour. Intense, hints of stone and tropical fruit, thyme, lemon verbena, gently brined preserves, with mineral hints of sea-salt alongside a soft butteriness. Complex, structured, great acidity, mineral and fruity on the palate; with a long-lasting aftertaste that beseeches you to take another sip.


Etiqueta verde 2022: 94 POINTS

The Gourmets Guide describes this wine as being lemon straw in colour. Remarkable intensity, yet honest, with hints of loquat, apricot, freshly mown grass, a subtle saltiness, lemon, bay leaf and eucalyptus. Full-flavoured, with a strong presence of fruit, offering vibrancy, balance and a long-lasting finish.


Etiqueta Ámbar 2022: 94 POINTS

A pale, almost steely yellow in colour. This wine is clean, aromatic, with hints of apricot, lychee, eucalyptus, freshly cut grass and lemon curd. It is flavoursome, fruity, balanced, lush, mineral and persistent, with a pleasantly tangy finish.
