Our Albariño Contrapunto 2017 has been awarded the Gold Medal and the Best of Show recognition at the Mundus Vini Awards

On February 25, our Contrapunto Albariño 2017 from Bodegas GRANBAZÁN was awarded the Gold Medal and Best of Show by the jury of Mundus Vini Spring Tasting 2018.

The Mundus Vini awards, with 17 editions behind them, are one of the most important wine competitions in the world. It is focussed on promoting the quality of wines and their commercialization, making it one of the most important references for consumers when choosing a good wine.

We thank the jury of this edition for the awards granted to the wine Contrapunto Albariño 2017 from Bodegas GRANBAZÁN, our youngest and freshest Albariño with D.O. Rías Baixas. Made with grapes from our hand-harvested Salnés Valley farms, it is a bright, lemon-yellow wine with greenish sparkles that show its youth. It is fine and fruity on the nose, with floral and citrus aromas. In the palate, it shows its refreshing acidity, and with a slightly saline finish. We deliver it in a casual packaging, specially designed for a modern wine.
